1BR with Work Desk | Cleveland Clinic Main Campus, Cleveland

A 1 bedroom furnished apartment near Cleveland Clinic, set up for a work assignment rather than a visit. There is a desk in the apartment, a garage space with it, and the main campus stands across the street in Fairfax, Cleveland.

The space
The bedroom is separate from the living room, so the workday and the rest of the day are not spent in the same four walls. It has a queen bed, a walk-in closet with hangers and shelving, blackout roller blinds and a ceiling fan. The living room holds a full-size sofa that opens into a queen bed for a colleague or a partner passing through, plus a wall-mounted TV. The desk sits where you can take a video call without the bed in the frame. A kitchen island table with bar stools separates the kitchen from the living room and doubles as a second work surface. The kitchen has quartz counters and full-size stainless appliances. The bathroom has a glass-door shower, toiletries, a hair dryer and a clothes steamer.

The neighborhood
Fairfax is a working neighborhood rather than a destination, which suits a stretch of weeks. Meijer Fairfax Market downstairs handles lunch and the evening shop without a drive. Case Western Reserve University is two minutes by car, Cleveland State University seven, and downtown twelve if the assignment moves around the city; the RTA HealthLine along Euclid Avenue covers the same run without the parking. Severance Hall is three minutes for an evening that is not another restaurant, and Little Italy is six.

Notes on the apartment

• One free space in the residential parking garage is included
• Staffed security covers the complex seven days a week, overnight too
• A Cleveland Clinic shuttle stop is in front of the building
